We created out brand to spread the amazingness of soft rush grass called "Igusa", which has been absolute necessity of our lifestyle for over 1300 years here in Japan. We hope more people will see, touch and feel this organic material.

Japanese people have been living with their traditional flooring "Tatami" (rush grass mat) for over 1300 years. The material used for the mat is called "Igusa" which has a lot of beneficial features such as anti-bacterial, mental relaxation, and regulating humidity in the air. We want to spread this organic and natural material to the world as many synthetic materials are becoming more prevalent and destroying our environment. By creating our brand, we hope to contribute to our children's meaningful future.
