Every tree deserves a bird! METALBIRD designs and produces trendy birds for in the garden, the patio or on the balcony. The birds are made of corten steel, which is a type of metal that develops a dark brown rust-like colour when exposed to weather

In the assortment you can find European birds such as the blackbird, the robin, the owl, the kingfisher, the woodpecker, the wren, the eagle, the crested tit and the nuthatch. But also exotic copies as the kookaburra, hummingbird and the cheerful fantail. The birds originate from New Zealand, where they sprung from the mind of designer Phil Walters. Henk Lakeman from Amsterdam saw the metal birds when he visited his friend Phil. He decided to design, produce and sell METALBIRD in Europe.
