KOKOT is a unconventional furniture design studio based in Barcelona.
Objects are spatial masses deserving one or several functions. Along with architecture, which divides continuous space into smaller spaces according to human needs, it constitues the experience of a place. KOKOT takes the opportunity to use their form and materiality to play with aesthetics and to question their relation to space. Giving objects a more evident visual presence, KOKOT’s designs tend to stand on the line between the artistic and the functional.
