The artist Sofia Speybrouck wanted to give shape to the unparalleled feeling of carrying a child - first in the body, then in the arms, until it was time to let go. So she created a moving bronze sculpture, accompanied by a poem: A new life is growing. From the outside, it is easy to follow its miraculous development, but for the mother there are no secrets. She alone feels every change, every movement, every stir.
