This is a pre-Hispanic sauce that has remained after the Spanish conquest and the Colonial period, and that has evolved into the complex sauce that we know today. In México, mostly every region has its own mole recipe and that is why it has become the most traditional national dish. Ingredients: tomatoes, Ancho, Pasilla, Mulato, Guajillo and Morita peppers, grilled tortilla, banana, raisins, onion, garlic, PEANUTS, ALMONDS, SESAME, WALNUTS, salt, pepper, sugar, spices, cinnamon, thyme, oregano, and chocolate.
