Product description

Makie as Akari In general, Makie is a technique where pictures or writing are painted in lacquer on the surface of lacquerware, and before the lacquer dries, powdered metal such as gold or silver is applied. It is one of the most typical methods of decoration used for lacquerware. In this product, Makie is not applied simply to a decoration, but applied to an element to reflect light. The gloss of lacquerware wearing Makie has been sublimated into lighting as Akari, by changing the interpretation of Makie.
