Product description
Several months of reflection to realize this sculpture, to give it this presence, this force. The parts come from auto mechanics for the feet and plumbing for the head and body. Some components of an old torch for the tail, an enamelled lampshade covering two bright eyes, and the mini switch hidden somewhere to remind us that it is also a lamp. The painstaking work of stripping and brushing has restored the object to its original colors. The marriage of brass and steel makes it a weird and elegant wading bird.
