There is a lot of refinement in these hand-worked patterns. Line drawing gives a lot of finesse. Coloring with slightly soggy gouache develops the gradients and some white contours in reserve provide a lot of light. There is relief, harmonious movements, in short of life in this modernised drawing and refreshed by its light blue background. Colorful flowers impulse cheerfulness, the Baltic background soothes us. The reverse animated with small carmine strokes on the same fresh background as the main creates a very soft counterpoint, a false effect united that warms up.
