The Coralla vase was born after a beautiful day spent in Murano with Master Gianni Seguso. The initial idea was of creating a large vase. The colors were chosen but the technique was not. While experimenting Maestro Seguso suggested the bullegato, which gives the ruby pink surface its crackle effect. “It’s a technique all great glass masters love but that I have never used before.” Only Gianni’s savoir faire allowed us to create it. “I started using gold only recently and I love it more and more every time.
