C-Hotels Cocoon
A superb luxury hotel that clearly stands out through a different use of colour and materials.
C-Hotels Cocoon is a luxury 4-star hotel with 76 rooms in Oostende, Belgium. The owners of the C-hotels group have a number of hotels along the Belgian coast. The client sought help for developing a total concept, as they wanted a new hotel that stood out from the rest. The brief was for a hotel with a completely different look than the other C-hotels. The Long Island/Hamptons style was proposed as the desired style. Rivièra Maison conceived a total concept, which was further developed in collaboration with the C-hotel group. Facade, entrée, lobby, restaurant, public areas and all 76 rooms were furnished by Rivièra Maison in de Hamptons style: light colours with a natural feel and in county chic style. Rivièra Maison devised this project from A to Z. From designing the reception, alterations to floor plan and breaking through walls, to the choice of flooring and finishes on the walls. Thought even went into the tissue boxes in the bathrooms. The final result is a superb luxury hotel that clearly stands out through a different use of colour and materials, to provide greater diversity in the C-hotels Group. www.hotelcocoon.be
