Sheraton Porto & Spa Hotel is a cutting-edge symbol of deluxe accommodation in Oporto. The interior show a contemporary decoration, with all the refinement and sobriety that made the name Sheraton a mark of distinction. It is not easy to point out a peculiar aspect of this work – whose splendor lies on the whole - but one should refer the fact that all the wood works have been executed in Wenge, and that is, by itself, an unusual choice. The suites and common areas’ walls are covered in this material, as well as the luxurious Spa, with its sliding doors, pavements and platforms. Wood panels, in oval format, were put in the suites and were later covered with fabric and leather. The spectacular Presidential Suite stands out for the opulence and the stunning effect of the woods.
