The works of the Museo Nacional Thyssen-Bornemisza are the inspiration for the new collection of porcelain plates created exclusively by lool.
lool presents the new collection designed exclusively for the Thyssen-Bornemisza National Museum in Madrid, Spain. A collaboration in which the designer Paulo Oliveira unites art and design, projecting a new look at the museum's collection. The thought resulting from its contemplation joins the subject portrayed in the work to create pieces that are perfect to be exhibited outside the confinement of the museum, on a table, a wall or wherever one dares. The designer proposes to provoke the interest of the public to discover (or rediscover) these works of art when observed from another perspective, as it happens when someone surprises us with a totally unexpected side of his that enriches him in our eyes. Works of painting by Rubens, Tiepolo, Baldung Grien and François Clouet from the collection of the Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum meet the visual imaginary of "lool Words - Together we are unequivocal". An exclusive edition of porcelain plates where these works of art are rediscovered, acquire a new meaning and are transported to our everyday life.
