BALLOONS

Pendant made with brass and mouth blown glass in Murano, handmade.

MANUFACTURE

Soufflé Mirror

With a playful design and an inflated appearance, Soufflé mirror borrows the French expression for ‘blown’ to name itself, emphasising its more evident and distinctive feature. A frame by the puffy and light appearance of a balloon hides inside a wooden structure and contains the arch-shaped surface of the full-length mirror. The tubular fixture, while guaranteeing a variable support point, both on the wall and on the ground, it allows the mirror to assume the ideal position, to adapt accordingly to the environment.

UKRAINIAN DESIGN BRANDS

Armchair Gropius (NOOM furniture)

The designer has “gathered” the shape of this armchair from balls and cylinders. A round pillow and an ottoman appeal to interact: to pump, to play, to bubble. New NOOM furniture collection is dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Bauhaus School in Germany. Ideas of functionalism and conciseness, the combination of craft and art, buildings and objects formed by a composition of simple geometric shapes, are still relevant. NOOM furniture is a tribute to the great thinkers who formed the modernist principles and brought them to life.

France Bittel and Olivier Chanard

France Bittel, an interior architect, and Olivier Chanard, a project director, created the agency "Bleu Gris" in 2014. Ever since, France and Olivier have helped businesses and private clients to create modern and creative interior design. More than just experienced interior designers, they are experienced creators, considering decoration and architecture as real vectors of emotion. Forever unique, France and Olivier’s projects are not rooted in one style but rather are the realisation of a clear vision with the client. Listening to each client, they translate words into reality and create original and timeless projects. With the South of France as their favourite playground, they carry out their projects in the Cote d’Azur’s most beautiful towns as well as in Corsica. It all began in Nice, and the city is where you can find their most emblematic projects; the Galia restaurant, with its pastel shades and retro spirit; Da Giulia, an Italian trattoria with mineral details and organic decoration; and Z, a tapas restaurant decorated in the vibrant colours of the Mediterranean. Working with leading design houses, such as Tom Dixon or Moooi, France Bittel and Olivier Chanard collaborate with local craftsmen in the design and production of custom-made pieces. As such, each location is sublimated with unique and personalised pieces, designed with the image of the place at hand.
