My name is Marian Sekula and I create my work in the picturesque mountain village of Dolní Lomná in the eastern part of the Czech Republic. I deal with the production of interior and exterior sculptures, tables, benches etc. Every single one of my carvings is original and incomparable due to the unique structure and colour of each trunk. Moreover, the trunks I use are very old and therefore hide (and display) their unique stories. I work with trunks which are 100 and more years old. Due to the complex nature of my work, each peice can take 3 years or more.
