Fabbrica Tessile Bossio was born in 1966 in Calabria (South Italy). The foundations of our company rest on the solid foundations of a family tradition handed down from generation to generation, within an area in which textile craftsmanship has always permeated collective life. The art of weaving, for the Grecian villages of Calabria, has in fact always possessed strong symbolic and social values. The colours of the Mediterranean landscape dominate the scene. Geometric designs tell of secret Byzantine codes. Natural yarns express a landscape dominated by mulberry, linen, hemp and wild broom.
