The Stella brand is intimately linked to the history of its patent : "the indislocable chair", deposited in 1922 by its founder Léon Ruisseau.

Born in 1922 in Labruguière, in the South of France, Stella is the expression of a French know-how of sustainable quality.
Originally a manufacturer of chairs, Stella then diversified into the manufacture of furniture for communities. Since June 2018, the current owner of the brand expresses its desire to shine Stella as its origins through the reissue of three models iconic chairs of the 50s and 60s : Cécilpila, Ingrid and Antilope.
