Masuko Unayama started SYURO in 1999 as a design company.
Based in Taito city in Tokyo, where family-run manufactures are still remained, SYURO has been trying to create everyday goods for modern life, by using Japanese traditional technique and skills of craftsmen, through the filter of SYURO. Our products are exquisite and warm, they’re things you would want to use yourself or to give them to someone close to you.
Our products would appeal to our the five senses.
