In Italy, as far back as the 30s, every family had a little farm and women loved preparing homemade dishes as pasta, made with fresh eggs and freshly grounded flour. To facilitate the process of pasta making, Otello MARCATO manufactured his first pasta machine. That machine was a great invention so Otello went around the neighborhood on his bicycle to sell it. This was the beginning of our company. Today, after almost 90 years, MARCATO production is still carried out in Padua, where it all began. During all these years the products have been sold all over the world thanks to their versatility.
