LUDUS LUDI - GAMES PICO PAO

PICO PAO produces and edits original games, better understood as raw materials for poetic experimentation and the playful enjoyment of the senses. We strive to develop creative games without limitations.

PICO PAO is a workshop with a long history of craftsmanship that began in 1979 in Lubián, a small Spanish village. The poverty that struck this rural area, sparked up the industriousness that forged a toy making tradition that captivated Javier Bermejo, who salvaged hundreds of old-fashioned toys and games, Juegos de la Antigüedad, from oblivion. We maintain the old workshop's tradition, aiming to produce original games, such as the Ludus Ludi collection. The games are notable for their lack of rules, and they enable all players to examine the nature of the language of art.
