After graduating in both Design and Fine Arts, FOEKJE FLEUR found her way by making objects that are functional and yet, give space for thought.

Her attractive and colourful designs seem playful at first sight, but are in fact inspired by serious topics. Since 2009 FOEKJE collects plastic bottles from polluted beaches and copies them into a series of porcelain vases, that spread awareness around this ever growing problem. New: "Bubble Buddy" is a recycled plastic soap dish that helps you cut you down on your daily plastic consumption by switching from bottled liquid soap to modern soap bars. He comes with a bar of organic soap and a cool grate to easily to dissolve soap flakes into soap suds. Isn't that a grate start?
