With her instinctive rapport with solid matter and her sensitive view on the world, Catherine de Kerhor has created her own signature : innate mastery of volume, singular power in her modelling, the ability to translate movement. Her female figures in bronze are the central point of her aestheticism. With her illuminated bronze, where the dancer’s body stretches seemingly without end in a gracefull and precise simplification until il becomes a line, she intensified her desire to reproduce life through movement.
