Combining the traditional craftsmanship of Aubusson tapestry with different textile know-how and the poetic and colourful world of illustration, Cc Brindelaine workshop creates dreamlike and enchanting weaves.
Cc Brindelaine workshop offers tapestry a joyful rebirth breathing the poetry of illustration into it, reviving the narrative foundation of mural decoration. Practising its art in Aubusson-Felletin, the cradle of handwoven tapestry, the workshop unites the ancestral weaving craftsmanship on low-warp loom with other textile know-how like embroidery, screen printing, to get a unique fabric. The artworks are made to measure, within the frame of a rigorous and committed approach, by working with local wools and natural dyes.
