2006 was the year a movement occurred in the world of Aizu lacquerware. It was “BITOWA”, a new brand born out of the fusion between traditional techniques and modern sensibility.

Aizu lacquerware distinguishes itself through features such as its solidity and its decorations; also, it is easy to use and it has a certain atmosphere intrinsic to its beauty.
