DOORMATS

Fisura doormats are made of 100% natural coconut fiber. FISURA doormats are made from the husk of the coconut. The coconut growers on the coast of Southern India, Kerala use every part of the coconut, so that virtually nothing goes to waste. • Each mat uses the husks of about 25 coconuts. • The husks are first “seasoned” in the lagoons off the coast, then each husk is beaten by hand to extract the fibre. • The doormats are painted and colored by hand.
