All of our products are designed by us, Steffen and Michiel. Once an idea has the Spek factor, it gets produced by social workshop. The current collections revolve around DIY barrel ageing and sweets with cocktail flavour.
After a couple of years of trying all sorts of things (chairs, lamps, bean bags), our ideas slowly grew towards the gifts market. Within this market, the niche of ‘gifts for him’ fits like a glove.
Spek is low-tech. We don’t like power plugs, internet of things and datasheets. Spek products are fresh and playful.
