ARTOLETTA NEW COLLECTION : Collections

Marcel Duchamp is one of the big artists influenced to Art in 20th century. He released a work called “Fountain” in 1917, which destroyed the traditional concept of art. He left words “The artist produces the work, but it is the viewer i.e. a third party who leaves it for posterity.” He thought that the appearance or meaning of an artwork depends not only on artist’s intention or technique but also on viewer’s interpretation and empathy. In the “New Collection”, I would devote homage heartfully to my beloved artists in mid-20th century.
