BARBOTINE AUBAGNE EN PROVENCE makes folk pottery. For the production methods that we use in our studio, for the robust forms, we choose inspired by French gastronomy and for the slip decorations like the marbling & the sgraffito. We were awarded the "EPV" by our government. The "EPV" recognizes that our pottery is a living French tradition. Our pottery is earthenware decorated with slip, made entirely by hand in our studio in Aubagne. This pottery is utilitarian, made for easy, everyday use.
