Tai Baan Crafts is based in Laos and brings eco-friendly fashion and home textile products to the market. Our products are all woven by hand and beautifully textured. The textiles are made of yarn that is hand spun and hand dyed using natural dyes. The weavers use locally sourced natural materials such as indigenous organic cotton. All products are made by village artisans from the different ethnic groups of Laos. We are provisional member of WFTO and therefore abides by the 10 principles of fair trade. Textured handwoven Ikat weave cotton throws Tai Baan new ranges of designs for September 2022 includes gradient cotton throw which created from Ikat weave (tie-dye) technique of Phu Thai ethnic. Ikat weave (tie-dye) technique is a very complicated weaving process, but it creates a very special and uniquely textured handwoven fabric. All of our products are handwoven using natural dyed yarn.
