The textiles are crafted from hand-spun, hand-dyed cotton yarns, using natural dyes derived from local leaves, roots, and mud. As a provisional membership of the WFTO, Tai Baan adheres to the 10 principles of fair trade. All products are heart made by skilled artisans from Laos' diverse ethnic communities.

Textured handwoven Ikat weave cotton throws Tai Baan new ranges of designs for September 2022 includes gradient cotton throw which created from Ikat weave (tie-dye) technique of Phu Thai ethnic. Ikat weave (tie-dye) technique is a very complicated weaving process, but it creates a very special and uniquely textured handwoven fabric. All of our products are handwoven using natural dyed yarn.
