At Authentique we love the vibrant and colorful fabrics from Provence. As other products from South of France, they greatly represent nature, sun, optimism, and joy of life. The traditional Provencal patterns are printed in "indiennes" technique by large copper scrolls, the productions are inspired by ancient handcrafted designs, the most common motifs used still nowadays are plants, herbs, flowers, fruits, geometric patterns, stripes, small circles, shells, and symbol of Provence – cicada.
