Ananbô, the initiating and timeless brand of the Jungle style which has conquered the world. In 2009, in the secret of a house in the Bordeaux countryside, a style was invented that would transform interiors around the world: the Jungle style, these wallpapers with the scent of the distance evoking the luxuriance and exoticism of tropical landscapes . At the origin of this style, Maison Ananbô, which in a few years would impose its singular vision of the interior as an incentive to travel. These unique wallpapers are designed and made in France.

Ananbô dévoile à l’occasion du salon Maison & Objet 2025 deux nouveaux décors : Balade à Beaulieu et les Jardins de Golatâ. Poétiques, oniriques, perdus dans le temps à la façon Ananbô, ils invitent le spectateur à découvrir deux nouvelles contrées de notre monde enchanté. Mais où la Maison Ananbô nous emmène-t-elle donc cette fois-ci ?
Ananbô was born from a sense of nostalgia—the longing for a lost 19th-century French art : the panoramic wallpaper. These striking frescoes, unfolding lifelike landscapes before the viewer’s eyes, once adorned palaces, grand reception halls, and prestigious residences until 1865. Today, the Maison revives this forgotten art with the utmost respect for the historical tradition that first brought it to acclaim : original hand-painted artworks crafted by the artists in our workshops and an imaginative vision drawn from the two most dream-inspiring regions of the world—the European South and the Oriental tropics.
