Tai Lue INDIGO & Natural Dye
The Tai Lue people of Laos have been making indigo dye for centuries. The dye is made from the Indigofera tinctoria plant, which is grown in the mountains of Laos. The leaves of the plant are crushed and fermented to produce a deep blue dye. The dye is then used to dye textiles, including clothing, bags, and accessories.
