At the cusp between tradition and innovation, Chukpalu offers a line of pile and flat woven contemporary rugs. Rahim Walizada, owner and founder of Chukpalu, strives to merge contemporary taste and traditional wisdom. His designs are subtle and elegant. Following ancient techniques, all carpets are handmade , produced in Afghanistan by local weavers, CHUKPALU pile rugs and killims have a modern feel: patterns are subtle, bringing folkloric craft tradition into the realm of high art. This year Chukpalu introduces a new collection of contemporary bespoke rugs and killims
