Founder Manish Narvania is always looking for special, innovative but always concerned in preservation of nature, loves to rummage around all over the world, looking for unique pieces made of natural fibers such as rattan , bamboo and cotton. During a trip to Myanmar he was so enthralled by Burmese rattan pieces that he started to import it. This marked the beginning of ISHELA, in 2001.
