Antica Legatoria Ofer was born in Padua and extended to Venice by collecting the legacy of Alberto Valese, renowned creator of marbled, ebrù and stamped papers. The "craft" is carried on by a group of young artisans who take over the tradition and develop new objects and patterns. The result is an ever-expanding collection of books, notebooks, photo albums and cartonage objects, all lined with colorful marbled papers. In addition to the respect for creativity and for the ancient crafts there's a lot of regard for sustainability, preferring slow processing and low enviromental impact papers.
