Handmade Glass Jewelry from Japan The craftspeople of HARIO, a heat-resistance glass manufacturing company founded in 1921, started to making glass accessories to inherit their craft. They are all handmade at Nihonbashi, Tokyo.

Since 1921, we have been making glass for over 100 years. Originally our craftspeople made laboratory equipment and tableware hand by hand. Gradually machine production evolved, and there have been less people inside the factories nowadays. We started this brand to go back to our roots, provide handmade products, and inherit the handmade craft to the next generation. "Heat-resistance glass" made by HARIO is not only strong against heat. The glass can be stretched, connected, and is easy to shape and also light. Using those characteristics, it is possible to create delicate designs.
