Graduated of the École Boulle in Paris, Jacky Cavallari lives and works in Lisbon, after ten years in Brazil.

Among his skills as a marquetry and cabinetmaker, he has developped projects of architecture, decoration and furniture, as well as the planning and execution of laminated panels and other materials. From the vast availability of this material to the accessible price, the artist saw in the wood the opportunity to work with several textures and shapes, getting inspired by the fauna and flora from the south region of Brazil.
