CFOC : Collections

Erected as an art for several millennia, lacquerware is certainly one of the most emblematic crafts in Asia. Since its creation, the CFOC has worked with Hanoi craftsmen who have passed on the secrets of lacquerware from one generation to the next. From the natural resin extracted from the sap of the lacquer tree to the Signature trays, each step is meticulously carried out. The wood of the future trays is first cut and assembled. The successive layers of lacquer are then sanded and polished by hand under water to obtain a smooth, glossy finish.
