With its roots in the Scandinavian design traditions Unknown Nordic creates long lasting functional and aesthetic products of very high quality. Natural resources are all around us. At Unknown Nordic we specialize in fibers extracted from volcanic lava stones. Nature has generated lava for millions of years and internal outbreaks have helped to form the crust of the earth. We retrieve the stones from the crust and convert them into fibers. And everything is done by hand...
