HIRUME

A fashion brand from Tokyo featuring on Japanese artisanal traditions presents a unique room fragrance combining Asian pure organic healing scent and glamorousness of European parfum creation at LIGHT TREND booth.

HIRUME, launched by fashion journalist Yoshiko Ikoma in 2018, is based on “KIMONO meets FASHION” concept. It collaborates with Japanese craftsmen to produce clothes, bags and jewelries. This is a laboratory to contact the skills and motifs of traditional arts with contemporary design, art, and fashion, exploring the reactions between them. It supports craftspeople training to preserve traditional arts and skills with spirit of “The monozukuri” philosophy of Japanese craftsmanship which has the ancient, the modern, and the future in its veins. HIRUME communicates its potency to the world.
