POTTERSWORK

Established in 1986, Potterswork has evolved from a tiny seaside shop to a small studio and now occupies an expansive workshop located in Muizenberg, Cape Town.

Our production team of 30 consists of local fettlers, kiln specialists, mould-makers, slip-casters, and artists who are all drawn from the surrounding communities. With a core focus on skills development, constant creative innovation, and jobs creation, we work collectively to produce a range of distinctive hand-made and hand-painted ceramics. Over the years our artists have developed the abstract African aesthetic for which Potterswork has become internationally renowned and each artist works within this design language to create their own unique pieces
