At Kioni we are committed to better rural communities in South Africa as we empower women through training and job creation initiatives. Although our core team operates from our workshop in Tzaneen, many casual workers work from home.

Beading is a traditional art form deeply rooted in most South African cultures. We at Kioni have made it our mission to design items harvesting traditional skills, but applying it in such a way that it appeals to a wider, global market - giving it a modern spin on par with international trends – especially in the use of good quality glass beads, colour and design. Apart from once-off artisan pieces (like woven necklaces and bracelets), or fun and bold jewellery items like earrings and rings, we also specialise in corporate and collectable gifts of exceptional quality.
