We take a lifetime to learn as do our pets. Our homes are their schools, where they play and run around and learn to socialise just as our children would do.   They attend self-care lessons from a very young age. As they grow older, they learn more and more words to communicate with us and be able to follow instructions. For them, time passes at a much faster pace. One day, grief-stricken, they drop out of school. They will never be forgotten. We continue to keep their portraits, tell their stories, and miss their first day of school...
