Matter aspires to highlight the purity and balance of the Greek landscape and tradition. The collections include handmade statuettes, posters, jewelry and useful ornamental objects, all made exclusively in Greece with tradititional techniques.

Stavros Konidaris, founder of brand matter, worked as a craftsman on sculptures designed by Christoforos Sklavenitis gaining invaluable experience and inspiration to create his own art works. As a designer, he is in search of elegance in the simplest lines and curves. Based on the fluidity and brightness of the material, he seeks to highlight it in its purest form. matter: /ˈmatə/ Noun: physical substance in general, as distinct from mind and spirit; (in physics) that which occupies space and possesses rest mass, especially as distinct from energy.
