ENGOITOI EPUAN

The Engoitoi Epuan association is committed to education, secure jobs, fair pay and equal rights for women. Unique bead, natural leather and fabric products are created in 3 projects in northern Tanzania.

Engoitoi Epuan is an international non-profit organisation based in Switzerland and Tanzania. Our goal follows the meaning of Engoitoi Epuan, which means the path to empowerment. In 3 projects, our project participants create unique handicrafts from glass beads, natural leather and cotton fabrics. We make sure that the raw materials are purchased locally and that used goods are recycled. In addition, our tailoring school for socially disadvantaged young women in Tanzania will open in January 2024. We look forward to creating new unique fabrics together with the students and teachers soon.
