Claire Salin navigates between wood and wool, forests and pastures. In her workshop, she designs furniture with simple, refined shapes. Her inspiration comes from trees, sheep and the landscape. The wood is carefully selected from the forests and hedgerows surrounding the workshop. The wool comes from farms in Berry and Limousin, where she shears the sheep. The two materials are combined to create durable, reassuring furniture and warm wall hangings. Every day, Claire Salin reweaves an essential link between nature and the objects of our daily lives.
