Founded by Max Gunawan in 2012, Lumio started in a tiny workshop in San Francisco. At the beginning, Lumio was created simply out of his desire to create an object that was beautiful and surprising, something functional and…joyful. From the original Lito book lamp, the sculptural Teno speaker, and the playful Ovo desk lamp, our creations combine forward-thinking technology with time-honored craftsmanship. Through touch, sound, sight or scent, our creations spark delight, re-engage the senses and remind us what it means to be human.
