RÉMI BOUTILLON

It is in my Gers workshop, located facing the Pyrenees, that I imagine and manufacture my pieces of furniture. I am inspired by the aesthetics and singularity of the woods used to create unique, functional furniture with clean lines.

I design furniture, I sculpt paintings, I turn bowls in the Gers facing the Pyrenees, letting myself be guided by the pieces of wood collected in my workshop as I explore. I am inspired by the aesthetics and singularity of the material to create unique pieces with clean lines. I work on my different creations by “collections” or “series” by revealing technical characteristics, assemblages, or similar visuals between the different objects.
