When I was 24 years old, I was fascinated by a dusty box packed with old watches I accidentally found in the antique market in Milan. There was a special shine in the old watches and I was wondering if these objects cannot be turned into another way and used again. Old things have their own stories such as human-being. I wanted to apply new light to a thing that was not able to be used because too old or broken or that has been forgotten.And this was the main motivation to produce Tomoko Tokuda.
