Mouhib’s fascination of handcrafted beautiful objects began early and continues to grow, as he learned age-old skills that still abound in the wondrous city of his birth, Fez. By weaving different medium, such as leather, horn, wool, cotton,metal.
Mouhib variously draws his inspiration from Berber graphic colours, abstractions inspired by Mark Rothko paintings and the blend of African/Arab &Jewish craft & art techniques found in Morocco. Each of the elements used to create his works capture the essence of his home city of Fes, being an historical kaleidoscope of culture and religion.
