Company founder Grete Wendt (1887–1979) and designer Olly Wendt, née Sommer, (1896–1991) created a wealth of unique wooden figurines and music boxes. Decade after decade saw continual furthering of the mastery and the craftsmanship of figurine production. Now in its third generation, the family company continues the work first started in 1915. To this very day, the unmistakable sketches, designs and samples left to us by both still remain the actual wellspring for our current collection.
